A bit more reverb and it'd be like one of MGMT's new tracks. Love the kinda dissonant synth stabs between ~40 and 1:15ish.
All that's missing is a Hall and Oates style vocal in here, like it's an awesome instrumental for an 80's pop jam.

Love the dissonance. The pianos lend it kind of a Dan Deacon like sound and it all combines really nicely with the jittery percussion.
Dan Deacon is a huge inspiration to me so that's a super cool comparison!!
im glad this hits the spot ^^
Has the vibe of C418 crossed with something off the Bioshock OST. Like the moody vibe.
On the non-music front, creativity can be wild flaky sometimes. There's no trick to suddenly fix writers/music/etc blocks. Sorry to hear you're having a rough go of it, dude.
FWIW this was a pleasant, albeit a little bit melancholy. listen. You know how to make something that's nice to listen to :)
yes
Gorgeous track, and my god what a title.
It's a loaded title!
This is such a fun track.
Happy to hear that, Bitbeak!
Hot dang this rules. Love that synth progression when it comes in, melancholy but like with a drive to it.
Catchy beat, congrats on the front page!
Really love the combination of synths you put together on this one. Really helps drive the feeling of isolation following a break. Nice songwriting and nice structure.
Not the biggest fan of the snap percussion but that's just my taste ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like the space. Eerie but kinda inviting.
