I zoomed in to the window to get a better view and it told me I was cheating and deleted my progress... Cool concept just kinda frustrated.

Dungeonation responds:

Whoa, so you were playing on a mobile device and that happened? Or did you try to use a keyboard shortcut to zoom in? TAB and CTRL both do that because of Flash functionality that would break the game

Feels like an early 2000's era flash game in a nice nostalgic way. Only real complaint might be that the medal screen kept blocking some of the soon to be flood victims lmao

Cyberdevil responds:

Ah you must've played through fast if you were having trouble with those! :D Good thing the level complete screens are there to let those fade a bit huh, didn't think of that potential problem... thanks for the feedback; appreciation! Regarding the style I think maybe I just haven't moved on from those early thousands yet. :) Good times they were.

Cute game! Sorry for never responding to your message, the game seems to run really slowly for me in full screen but maybe that's just my computer? Runs fine in the smaller window.

I might have hit a bug, though. When I get through the first stage and you're taken to the screen with the mountains in the back ground and the music switches to the 16-bit Blaze track, I think something is supposed to happen but I'm just stuck in that small area and can't seem to leave it.

scottwjsm responds:

That should be fixed now, also I made the final boss harder.

Cute! Wish it had sound to kinda liven it up a bit. Like the overall look of it and how it just drops you in. Good intuitive flow to things overall.

You did a decent job capturing the feeling of a boring date XD, better luck next time Jeff... Jerry?

[editing to respond here] as Wolod noted earlier, Jeff’s name changes to Jerry in the last bits of dialogue, wasn’t sure if that was intentional or not

Bubbleking0923 responds:

jerry?

Goofy little game, enjoyed it even though it is short. Maybe it's just me but the hit boxes were a little hard to parse and I found myself running into a lot of things after I thought I'd gotten out of the way of them.

Either way, had fun and loved the art.

Butzbo responds:

Yeah the hitboxes ended up a bit weird with this layered perspective, the llama's shadow was considered to be a guide for that but it could be a lot more precise.

Thanks for the feedback, glad you had fun! :)

"it's got a little something for everyone"

ZabuJard responds:

LOL

Pretty and well made game, I'm pretty garbage at it but the mechanics are solid and the visuals are nice to look at :)

Replying to author: Oh no! I just meant I’m not good at the game, not that it was unfairly hard. I’m pretty awful at platformers and runners in general.

Amni3D responds:

Thanks!
Although, I will say the game is a little unfair, so I'm not entirely sure on the "garbage" part. It is a bit unforgiving, though.
