The animation, backgrounds and the music are all downright gorgeous. That said, and maybe I'm just not used to your style, but as a short or a first episode in a series I guess I don't really see the hook?

Like, it's clear a lot of effort when in to this but I don't really have any feeling about any of the characters or the start of any sort of plot. Idk if that's a critique or just a general comment, either way still looking forward to what you do with this :)

God dang wild, phenomenal animation from start to finish and a lovely tribute to fantastic show. Loved seeing Peco and Smile show up at the end.
