The fact that the last few minutes are actually pretty pleasant is impressive. Taken as a whole though there's not a whole lot for the listener. Cool experiment though.

ZappaFan52 responds:

Yeah the first half of it just kind of came out as a really harsh wash tbh lol I tried to do some neat things with the stereo field and the way each note sat in it but I'm not sure that came across very well so I made sure for the last bit to be a little more melodic lol

Love the sound! It's a little washed production wise, but that works for the theme overall. It's got a good progression and you executed the change up around 1:46 really well.

Only gripe with it might be that the drones kinda over power the vocals here and there making it hard to make out the lyrics. Great work otherwise!

RedSoul92 responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I agree that I may have went overboard on the blurriness, getting the vocals to stand out of the mix has always been an aspect I struggle with.

This is a really well little crafted piece. All the synths really work well together while being pretty distinctive in the mix. Also a fan of how you managed the beat throughout the song. Good work yo!

TenodiBoris responds:

Thank you 😊

Dear goodness, it's like a funky version of some backing tracks from Age of Empires back in the day. Interesting track, really like where you take it in the later half

xMightyEightx responds:

Thanks a bunch

It's well produced and really dig variety of sounds you pulled in.... but it's definitely not my style (and didn't want to low score vote because I ain't the target audience). Little too lacking in a structure/consistency for me, but some peeps here are probably cool with that :)

MRM3 responds:

haha thank you for being fair!
really not my style of music either, however, I want to be able to say I've produced every type of music, and so this was a bit of a .... self challenge?
This definitely strays a tad into chaoticness... however, it is very much intended.
Thank you for not taking too much off, just cause it's not your cup 'o tea. ^^
Really nice of you to leave a review! :DD

Dig the feel of this overall, just enough variation to keep it from being entirely background noise but also mellow enough to draw to :)

NinjaOnShrooms responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I love to hear that it vibes with your productivity

Really liked the tone of this, it's got the feeling of an album opener.

Sighyanide responds:

Thanks a lot! I was going for exactly that.

I enjoyed the sections with the reversed instrumentation (I'm assuming that's how you did it), but the piece just wasn't too interesting to me outside of that. It's a cool melody, just could use a little more variation.

DirtImpact responds:

Thank you for feedback!

This is a great track, dude! The softer parts remind me of early American Football crossed with Soccer Mommy (if that makes any sense). Dig the sound regardless.

Following to catch the full version whenever you drop it :)

ZappaFan52 responds:

Thank you!

This is pretty dope! Dig the melodies and the progression is solid too.

SynthHarmonia responds:

Glad to hear that, thanks!
